50th FRONTIER DAYS PARADE

Please include if you have been in business over 50 years the total number of years. Please have a working email as we won’t mail the lineups this year.
We are preparing for our 50th Annual Frontier Days Parade, using Central Avenue, Main Street – Fort Dodge, starting at the Fort Dodge Public Library, we will provide you with the route prior approximately 2 weeks prior to the parade. We are expecting a great parade.
There is a First place, Second place, and Third place trophy for Best Theme Float entries. This a float that best depicts the parade theme, which is “Hat’s Off to Those Who Came Before Us” Other award categories include a first and second place for Best of Parade, Best from Outside the City, Best Commercial, and Best Religious.
Everyone should try for these awards!!
WHO MAY ENTER?
We encourage entries from civic organizations, clubs, businesses, schools, churches, youth groups, bands, drums, bugle corps, institutions, neighborhood groups, specialty and support groups, etc. After dignitaries, honorees, and the military, your entry will be placed in the parade line-up on a first come, first serve basis.
Entry deadline is May 17, 2025.
Placement in the parade is first-come first-served; so, get your entry submitted quickly to get a good spot. This year we will not provide a lineup ahead of time. We will arrange the lineup upon arrival based on a first come first serve basis. Please stop at the check-in table to be assisted to your place in the parade.

Would your child like their art displayed at Frontier Days? Download the image below, print it out, and have them color and decorate the horse. Turn in for judging by 4:00 PM on June 1, 2025 to have it put up for all to see at our 50th Annual Frontier Days celebration!
