Come out and challenge your scare reflexes as you walk through the village and fort at the Fort Museum and Frontier Village. Tours begin at 4:30pm for those wanting a tamer experience. Scarier experiences will be available from 6:30pm to 10:00pm.

The fun begins at the Opera House - 1 Museum Road, Fort Dodge.

Entry is $5 per person. Families of 4 or more is $20.

The Fort Dodge BBQ & Chili Lovers Society is holding a BBQ competition for the area Grill Meisters and those wanting to prove their skill. Cooks Meetung Friday night 7pm at the Opera House.

Saturday Event opens to the Public at 1 pm and event will run until 4pm.

Join us for an Adults Only foam party with an 80’ theme. The evening includes $2 beer, Kona ice and adult beverages, adults-only vendors, walking tacos, nachos and games. Party starts at 7pm and Glow Foam 8:30pm. Entry for $10/person.

Bargains, Baubles and Binge shopping. The Fort Museum is holding the first in a series of Flea Market and Vendor Fair events at the Fort Opera House. Indoor and outdoor spots available for August 24th and September 21st. October and November (TBD) will be inside.
